Planted horizontally along the 40° steep hills in a system known as \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003egirapoggio\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e, some of their vines are over 80 years old and have been propagated using massal selection (i.e. old clones).
